Accessible website?

This is not a particularly accessible website.  The website is currently in WordPress.com and I choose the cleanest sans serif theme I could find and then changed the contrast between text and background as far as I could.

However, I know it needs to be much, much better. Alongside the other beginnings of this project I am just now learning to use both WordPress.com and Omeka and hope that between them I can work with the Museums for Us project group to make a much cleaner, clearer and more visual site.

If anyone out there who develops WordPress.com themes would like to collaborate then would be fab – as I’m sure there are lots self-advocacy groups and small organisations that could use such a Wordpress.com theme. And I’ll share here and on the AccessPraxis blog any secrets of using WordPress and Omeka to make easy-to-use websites I find out along the way.
